Welcome to Turtle Mountain Mythic Art! 
Approaching the gallery in its beautiful coastal forest setting, one feels a sense of adventurous exploration rich with mystery. Entering the gallery, the feeling is enhanced as one views Scarlet's bold, unusual  work.
While the majority of Scarlet's work combines mythic and shamanic themes, she also paints images of the coast and the coastal forest.  
The gallery is located at 
The Standing Bear Center for Shamanic Studies, 
which Scarlet founded in 1994. Scarlet is an experienced feminist shamanic teacher and counselor.
She is also a writer who weaves mythic and shamanic themes
into her tales. Her writing is currently published by
Standing Bear Mythic Press, which is also housed at the Center.
